Kenny Luey 雷华煕

It is with great sadness that the Luey family announce the passing of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Kenny Wah Hei Luey of Vancouver, BC. He suddenly passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 88 in Vancouver, BC.

Born January 3, 1937 in Taishan, Guangdong, China. He emigrated from China to live in Vancouver in 1959.

Kenny Luey was predeceased by his son, Albert Luey. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Suzanne Luey, his son, Arnold (Caroline) and his daughter, Betty Casil (Peter). He treasured his grandchildren Christopher and Lauren.

A Visitation will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street in Vancouver on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 12:30 pm.

Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue in Burnaby.

Kenny battled kidney disease and diabetes. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and/or bcdiabetes.ca to help others fight against these diseases.
