It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the news of our beloved Kramer’s passing. Throughout his life, Kramer shone a light that drew people in and brightened the world. That light shone brightest for his much loved family. His cherished wife, Stephanie (Burkoski), and his adored children, daughter Evie and son Hugo. Kramer was the loving son of Sheena (nee Ross, d. 2002) and Birk (Nancy Pells), and the treasured younger brother to Kyle (Casey Hamilton) and Natalie (Colin Frantze). He was the dearly held son-in-law to Lori Burkoski (Len Strahl) and Norm Burkoski (Jo-Anne Bellemore), and brother-in-law to Matt Burkoski (Sarah). As well as being a loved grandson, uncle, and nephew, Kramer held a close kinship with his crew of cousins. His valued friends, colleagues, and neighbours were numerous.
Kramer will live on in the hearts of many, and his wonder and appreciation of the world will endure. The moon and stars, clouds in the sky, ocean and lake waves, will all bring him to us. And, as food is shared and music is played, we will feel connected to him. Kramer’s curiosity and interest in other cultures, the people, traditions, and languages, will always travel with us.
In all that he did, Kramer was articulate and accomplished. His thoughtful, knowledge-seeking nature carried him through university, flight school, and into a successful career as a head of production in the animation industry. His integrity, mindfulness, and quick wit guided him throughout.
Kramer brought much joy and love to all that shared in his light. He loved and was loved.
Crossing the Bar
By Lord Alfred Tennyson
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea;
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep,
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark.
For tho’ from out our bourne of time and place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face,
When I have crossed the bar.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MountPleasantFuneral.com for the Hoehn family.
