Lam was born on April 28, 1941 in Vietnam. He immigrated his family to Vancouver in 1975, having lived in Canada for the past 50 years, Lam was proud to call Canada home and to raise his family here. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend. A man of quiet strength, unwavering integrity, and a deep love for his family, he lived his life guided by kindness, humility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
He is survived by his wife Paula Thi My Dung, children Alan, Nathalie, Bernard and Sylvie, grandchildren Nicholas, Julian, Derek, Matthew, Kyla and Connor, and great grandson Wyatt, who will forever miss his presence in their lives.
His warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
A memorial service will be held on July 10, 2025 at 1:30pm at Harron Hamilton Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable man.
