She was born to Toriano and Nieves Loyola Batatan on Feb 28, 1926. She married Teofilo Rojas and together they had 10 children Edna, Nene, Jaime (Jim), Ernesto (Erning), Romulo (Oggie), Mani, Zenaida, Rolando (Potie), Johnny and Francisca.
Letty had 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was a devout Catholic with a strong faith to God. She loved family gatherings, she enjoyed cooking, travelling, dancing and playing Bingo. She was an active member of the Filipino Canadian seniors association.
Due to the current situation, a private funeral service will be held on May 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral home, 306 East 11th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. The burial will take place and her body will be sent to the Philippines as per her wishes.
