

Marilyn is predeceased by husbands Ronald E Joseph (d) and Louis J Mura (d).
She is survived by her Children, Ron, Dawnda (Brian Tate), Rhonda, Roman(d) & Mercy (Todd Humchitt).
Marilyn’s leaves behind grandchildren, Tyler Joseph (d), Jolanda Tallio (d). Jacob & Amanda Tallio, Seth, Matthew & Dylan Humchitt Mura and her great grandsons, Kayden Joseph and Ambrose Tallio. She is also survived by Brendan, Tristen & Quentin Tate through her daughter Dawnda’s recent marriage to Brian Tate.
Marilyn is survived by her remaining sisters, Emma (Tony) Reid and Roberta (Numo) Dalziel. She is predeceased by late adopted sister Shirley & her husband late Himas Reginald ’Toby’ Moody with whom she had a special relationship.
Marilyn was an aunty to numerous nieces and nephews who she loved as her own. Marilyn and late husband Louie opened their home to Ricardo, Leslie, Violet, foster daughter Connie and niece Dennine was a frequent visitor. Growing up, their kids best friends were always warmly welcomed as well; the Mura house was always full.
Marilyn was valued and acknowledged for her dedication working towards betterment for Indigenous peoples in the Lower Mainland. She made lifelong friends while serving as a board of director for many causes. Over the decades she made lasting contributions to the following organizations:
