In Loving Memory of Michael Chow

　　周先生於一九七三年四月與嚴彩金女士結為夫婦，並於同年移民加拿大溫哥華，仍努力工作，照顧家庭，喜愛運動，旅遊，與朋友茶聚，特別活躍於退伍軍人活動，於二零零四年歸信耶穌基督為救主，並受浸加入教會及團契，生平喜愛閱讀聖經，唱聖詩，近七年多來，因年事已高，身體欠佳，幸蒙愛妻彩金（Lisa） 的細心照顧，任勞任怨，至今年七月二日交息主懷，享年八十七歲，子光與彩金有有一女二子，長女佩儀 (Melodie)，女婿 Peter Wong，長子浩貫 (Howard) 媳婦 Cystal，幼子浩賢 (Edward)，外孫男 Trevor，外孫女Stephanie。

Mr. Michael Chow was born in Hong Kong in 1936. In his early years he grew up and was educated in a Christian elementary school in Diamond Hill. He then continued his training and education in the military school in Hong Kong for eight years. He served in the military as well as in the Hong Kong Government Offices. An honest and trust worthy person, he was responsible for the transportation of the chief military officer. After serving in the military department, he was offered a job at the Chinese University of Hong Kong to be in charge of the transportation for the university president and prominent personnel.

Michael married Lisa Yim in April 1973. They immigrated to Vancouver Canada in the same year. He continued to work hard and supported his family. In his spare time, he loved to travel and having dim sum with friends. He was especially involved in veteran's activities. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour in 2004 and was active in church and fellowship. He loved to read the Bible and sing hymns. In the past seven years, he had health challenges. His loving wife Lisa tirelessly cared for him till his passing on July 2, 2023. He was eighty-seven years old.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Lisa and daughter Melodie, son in law Peter Wong, grandchildren Trevor and Stephanie, son Howard, daughter in law Crystal and younger son Edward.
