Miriam Lavides Reyes

Born on December 5, 1965, in the Philippines, Miriam was the beloved daughter of Angelita Lavides Reyes and Pedro Amparo Reyes. As a teenager, she moved to Canada on August 22, 1980, where she created countless cherished memories, built a life of love, and shared her many talents.

Miriam was a woman of steadfast faith. She loved the Lord deeply and served Him faithfully through her church and her extraordinary gift of music. An excellent singer and performer, she graced many stages with concerts and a self-titled music album, lifting spirits and inspiring those who heard her voice.

She was a devoted wife to Martin Kugler, whom she married on June 23, 2007. Though she never had children of her own, she poured her love generously into her family, her friends, and her community. Known as the life of the party, Miriam was always a favorite among family and friends. Her circle of friends became her chosen family, and she was a constant source of energy, laughter, and love.

Beyond her music and her faith, Miriam was admired at her workplace, where her positivity and dedication left a lasting mark.

Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, joy, and steadfast faith. Though she has left this world, Miriam will be forever remembered for her radiant smile, her music, and the love she shared with all whose lives she touched.
