With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Moneca Remillard on February 24th, 2020 at 54 years of age. Moneca grew up in Winnipeg, MB and spent her adult years in both Manitoba and British Columbia. She raised her sons with an appreciation for nature and the simple wonders of life. Whether it was a beautiful landscape or a bird with a crooked beak, she practiced seeing and appreciating the beautiful world that many of us miss in our hectic daily lives. Moneca volunteered at the Wilson Senior’s Centre in Port Coquitlam for many years. She also spent considerable time working on her arts and crafts, and hiking the many lush green trails in the Metro Vancouver area. Moneca was loved and will be deeply missed by her partner Bruce, sons Adrien and Matthew, mother Gwen, brother Len, sisters Carolyn (Dave) and Melodie (Rudy) along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the BC SPCA in her name would be appreciated.
