She is survived by her her husband, Stephen, her mother, Anna, and her two children, Olesya and Anton.
Natasha was born in Korosten, Ukraine and emigrated to Canada with her parents in 1990.
She taught pre-school for several years and was one of the driving forces of the Pushkin Russian School at the Russian Community Centre. During her tenure there she instructed several generations of children in Russian culture and language as well as ran administration as the vice principal.
She will be missed by many.
There will be a memorial service held at the Russian Community Centre, 2114 W. 4th Ave. from 7 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, February 11th.
