Passed away peacefully on Monday December 9, 2013, at the age of 78 years. Voula was born on June 11, 1935 in Gonnos, Larissa, Greece. She is survived by her loving husband Kostas, son Stelios, daughter in law Vicki, daughter Maria, son in law Jeff, grandchildren Anthony, Konstantinos, and Nicholas, sister Koula in Greece, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends in Greece, Canada and the USA. A resilient woman with a kind heart who will always remain in ours. Special thanks to our supportive friends and family and the wonderful people at the Arbutus Care Centre. Prayer service will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 18th at 7pm at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19th at 11:00 am. Father Demetrios Partsafas officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn cemetery, Burnaby. Donations can be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
