

Jorgensen, Patricia Anne (Pat), born November 25, 1941, passed away at St. John’s Hospice on April 12, 2025. She will be remembered with love by her daughter Serina (Dan), son Kristian, grandsons, Kristian and Kai, brother Michael (Elaine), sister-in-law Ellen, many nieces and nephews and friends. She is proceeded by her Parents, Albert William and Dorothy Olive Parsons, her husband, Flemming Kristian Jorgensen, her brother, Dennis Parsons
Patricia was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on November 25th, 1941. She was the youngest child of Albert William and Dorothy Olive Parsons. As her farther was in the RCMP, she spent her childhood moving all over Canada. She spent her teenage years in St. John’s Newfoundland, a place that always held a special part of her heart
As a young woman, she came out to the West Coast and secured a job with Price Waterhouse Chartered accountants. She lived in the West End of Vancouver and met Flemming outside a skating rink. She married on September 25, 1966
Patricia and Flemming initially lived in her grandfather’s house, just off of 25th and Cambie. When they wanted to buy their own house, they opted to move out of the city and live in Ladner, BC. They had 2 children, a daughter (Serina), a son (Kristian) and innumerable pets (dogs, birds, fish, snails, guinea pigs and cats)
Patricia spent her time supporting her family and getting involved with different organizations in Delta. She joined sorority and over time took on more responsibility within the organization including becoming the area president.
Patricia was a social person, with a wicked send of humor, but her main priority was her family. She was very proud of her children and what they accomplished. She adored her grandsons and spoiled them anytime she could
Some of her favorite pastimes were knitting, sewing, embroidery, baking and gardening. Here favorite music was jazz and Dixieland
In last years of her life, she was well cared for by the nursing staff and care aids at Weinberg Residence.
On April 5th, Patricia entered St. John’s Hospice and received end of life care. She passed away on April 12, 2025
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mary’s Kerrisdale, 2490 W 37th Ave, Vancouver, BC, on Sunday July 27th at 2 pm
