It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Role on March 24, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Vancouver General Hospital after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and cherished friend.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Michael Damo, and her devoted siblings: Jeremias, Demetrio, Vicky, Josephine (and her husband Matthew), and Francisco. She was a dear aunt to Michael, Joven, Jeffrey, Jervin, Jerick, Yohan, Hiro, Nathan, Lisa, Kayleigh, Francine, and Nicole.
She also shared a deep bond with the Mehra family—Pam, Preetika, Atul, Krishen, and Sohana—who were like family to her.
Rebecca will be remembered for the warmth she brought to those around her, the kindness she extended to everyone she met, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
