Five years ago today we lost you Shane.
We still cannot process this!
Both you and grandma Mary fell asleep in November-it was 39 years ago for grandma.
You both won’t believe what happened when you wake up.
We constantly dream of that day.

Hi Shane and family.
3 years today since you fell asleep.
We have all been talking about the song: 🎶 
“He will call”….when Jehovah will resurrect all those asleep.
We want to hear you sing when you wake up: 🎶 “Jehovah….you called and I answered”….with a loud voice!
Waiting is hard.
But no one else can erase the pain you and your family have been through.

It’s just auntie Dar here again Shane! 
You’ve been asleep for 2 years now~so much has happened.  People are still getting Covid, Russia has been raging war on Ukraine for months and now they’ve hit Poland with a missile!
On a fab note, your cousin Rhonda is serving Jehovah again!  She misses you and wants to see you again~she knows this is the only way she can by sticking close to the one that will wake you up.
Your mom and John are going to Mexico soon-you know they love it there-it’s been quite cold so it will be a welcome break.
Toni was here from New Zealand too…she hung out with your mom for a couple of days…had some laughs!  Brett is in Scotland for work…he’s missing all the beautiful weather here in Vancouver 🤷🏻‍♀️
Ok, 2 years closer to you waking up and feeling great.  Can’t wait to chat with you face to face!

No fair Shane, it’s been a year since I last saw you. 😔
I’ll never forget, when you were little, how grandma loved to see you and you’d sit on her lap and cover her face with kisses. How you made her laugh!  We miss her as well.  Can’t wait to welcome her back to life!
When you open your eyes you’ll get to see her again too! Don’t forget this promise from Jehovah, he doesn’t lie! 😘😘😘

Our dear family, it is with heavy hearts that we send out much love and long hugs to you all.
We yearn to be together again, to embrace Shane, and all our other loved ones we have lost. We look forward to making many new happy memories. What a beautiful day that will be.

Shane, I'm heart broken that you're gone.  I miss chatting with you already.  You were always good at keeping in touch, I really appreciated that.  Thanks for having such a good heart and always having something to talk about.  I love you, you will always be a part of me.
I think the funniest thing I remember growing up (there were many) was when your fam got a CD player.  You tried to play one for us but it wouldn't work.  When you took out the cd, there was peanut butter all over it.  You were so mad at your brother all you could say was "Stee-VUN!!!!".   I love you too, Steven and Julie.  We had good fun growing up together.  May we all get through this together, you leaving us Shane.

There are many aunties that share the loss of our nephew Shane.
I’m happy he kept in touch with us through his great struggles now our loved nephew is out of pain and much suffering.
He was fun he made us laugh, down to earth and told it like it was
You will get that second chance Shane, and be pain free and  you will feel peaceful no more anxiety, this is a sure promise foretold in the  Bible a promise from Jehovah our God and  merciful Creator of mankind.

Shane, my little nephew.  You’ll always be little to me, but I know I know, you grew into adulthood 😉
You would always say my name with a southern like drawl: “Darrrrrrrrlain” and laugh afterwards 😆
I miss those days...giggling over the simplest things with you.
I was talking with Steven about that today a bit, the good ol’ days getting together with all the fam.  We would sure have some laughs, some crying too but we love the laughs!
I remember cutting your hair on my moms (grandmas) deck when you were in elementary school...used the kitchen scissors and accidentally nicked your ear! Poor you Shane-but you were a good sport as well as your mom when she found out!
Zak and I have our own story to tell about hair cutting today! 😲
I look forward to Jehovah’s promise of Paradise, right here on earth...see you there Shane 💕

I loved my cousin Shane and will miss him very much. I always remember being so excited as a kid when Shane and Steven would come to visit us on Frances Street, and I would run up and hug them. They always had interesting stories to tell. It makes my heart feel happy to think about being able to see Shane again along with other loved ones who have passed, right here on earth, when no one will be sick. We all face struggles in this life, so let us see the person behind those struggles and carry on with kindness. My biggest hugs and all my love go to all our families out there - we would normally be together to support one another at a time like this, so just know that you are so very loved, even from a distance.

Shane may not have known how to show it but family was very important to him. Whenever we spoke he always told me he loved us and missed us. I’m glad I got to tell Shane we loved and missed him the last time we spoke. 
Shane will be missed but never forgotten. 

One thing that has always meant the most to me is  that he always  introduces me to anyone as his  brother Steven 
He’ll always be my brother and  I hope  we meet again 
I’ love you brother you will live in all our hearts and no one will ever forget you that ever knew you
