Sharon is very fondly remembered by the exceptional staff and many residents of Dr. Al Hogg Pavilion in White Rock, BC. The family would like to extend our thanks for the happy times, great care and kindness of the staff for Sharon at Dr. Al Hogg Pavilion over the last year.
Sharon had many gifts which she shared every day with her family, friends and people she met along the way in her life. She had the rare quality to connect with everyone sincerely with great interest and curiosity. Her sense of humour, boundless expression of love, affection and appreciation for learning was her most enduring quality for which we will remember her always. Sharon had an incredible memory for historical and geographical facts from Canada and across the world which amazed those around her. Her ability to solve both word and number puzzles and beat us all at card games was recognized by everyone who knew her. She transferred this ability to having fun putting together numerology and astrology profiles for family and friends. For more than 40 years, Sharon’s career consisted of work as an office assistant, accountant, bookkeeper and entrepreneur.
Our Mom, sister, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend, Sharon, will remain in our hearts with love forever. She brought us love, joy and always an element of fun whenever we were together.
By request, the family will gather for a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army: https://salvationarmy.ca/.
