Timothy "Tim" Lawrence Dunn

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tim. Predeceased by his father Frank and mother Pearl, Tim is survived by his loving wife Denise, and two sons Bryan (Désirée) and Mike (Megan), grandchildren Makayla (Mike), and Rylo (Bryan). He also leaves behind seven beloved brothers and sisters and so many nieces and nephews that he loved.

Tim was born in New Westminster, British Columbia but was raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He relocated to Vancouver, BC in the early ‘80’s where he met his wife. He worked in the software industry for 36 years and made many friends. His friendship with Steve (Karen) spanned most of those years for which he was blessed.

Tim loved being a husband, father and grandfather. His greatest pleasure was family. The last two years with his grandchildren were the happiest he’s ever been.

In his youth Tim trained to be a pilot and was active with Karate. He played golf, curled and liked to run. In the last ten years he took up sailing which he really enjoyed and was a member of the RCMSAR out of North Vancouver.

Throughout all of the years music was his passion. He played guitar, keyboards and harmonica but could play almost any instrument he picked up. He was part of two bands that would play locally. He wrote, played and sang many of his own songs.

Tim will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
