Tong Jian (Roget) Luo passed away at Royal Columbia Hospital on May 19th, 2024, due to complications resulting from an aortic dissection. Roget grew up in Nanjing, China. In the same city, he received his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, met his wife, Yue Ying Li, and raised a son, Roman Luo. In 1989, he immigrated to British Columbia, Canada with his family. In this new land, Roget continued working as a power engineer in the commercial real estate industry. Whether it be at work or at home, Roget was a beacon of positivity. Choosing to see the best in people and situations made Roget unanimously loveable. Roget leaves behind his wife, son, mother, and two brothers.
