Tsutomu Iori

It is with great sadness that the Iori family announce the passing of their beloved husband, father and good friend, Tsutomu Iori of Vancouver, BC. He was born on March 13, 1929 in Wakayama, Japan and passed away peacefully at Vancouver, British Columbia on May 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Our heartfelt condolences to the Iori family at this time.

Tsutomu Iori was predeceased by his parents and is survived by the love of his life Kerrie Iori. He have lived his life as a committed buddhist, and work in all different sectors of industry. He was proud of doing professional carpeting for a lot of big companies, and he was also involved in Hollywood as an art director for the movie of Fantasy 4 and much more TV episode. He used to work with a lot of celebrity as we know as Frank Sinatra. he and his wife produce their own TV show and promote the Japanese culture here and focus at Kimono.

He was also a very kind person and give back to his community. He did volunteering work for the local community and donate to all variety of organization.

Memorial service will be held on June 17, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow.
