Yip Tao Loo

Yip Tao Loo, a cherished pillar of her family, was born on March 9, 1929, in Canton, China. Her life's journey came to a peaceful close on March 16, 2024, in Vancouver, at the venerable age of 95. Yip Tao's legacy is marked by the love and devotion she inspired in those around her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dack Keat Loo.

Her memory will be forever honored and cherished by her three sons and their spouses, her daughter and her spouse, along with her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a part of her spirit and teachings into the future.

Yip Tao's life was one of resilience and grace, marked by the rich tapestry of experiences she shared with her family. From Canton, to Suva, Fiji, to Vancouver, she carried with her the traditions and values that shaped her into a matriarch whose influence will be felt for generations.
