So incredibly sorry to hear of Dr. Teng's sudden passing.  He will be missed by staff and patients in Yellowknife.  Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I remember looking  after some really sick patients with you. It was always great to have someone that really knew what was going on when the world was falling apart.

   I will miss his interesting humor and contagious smile. He was willing to help at anytime no matter the situation.  He listened with an open mind and had so many interesting ideas. 
  He was always so excited to tell me about his renovations on his house in Vancouver. And the true city boy he was, he coukd never figure out how I could spend hours outside on my snowmachine.  I even had him almost saying yes to a sled ride.
   I had the privilege  to work along side him in our Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine departments at the Fort St John Hospital for the past few years.

Not many people know here in Fort St John Hospital. Without your full support in my Nuclear Medicine Department to perform Nuclear MPIs, the waitlists would not go down. You have made a huge impact in patient care for cardiac diseases. You always find time to be available to assist us. I'm forever thankful for all that you do for my department and for our patients.

I had the privilege to work along side Dr Teng, in the Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine departments in the Fort St John Hospital, for the past couplebof years.
We managed to have a few laughs. He was so excited to tell me how the renovations were going, on his house in Vancouver.  He was a true city boy at heart but enjoyed listening to my many adventures in the great outdoors that he couldn't believe anyone would do. When he saw a deer in town it was so funny how he told ke about it. 
He will be missed. RIP dear. Hugs to his family and friends.

Dr Teng-You will truly be missed by us in Critical Care in FSJ.  Your infectious smile and laugh will always be remembered.  You were so easy to talk and joke around with.  My condolences to the family of Dr. Teng.

Dr.  Teng will be greatly missed. He was a tremendous help to the rural community of Fort St. John. He enjoyed taking the time to share and listen to stories. You could always find him laughing and he was so inviting with his smiles and cheerful personality. He became a vital part of our rural family here in FSJ. I believe Dr. Teng has affected the hearts of many, I share my condolences.

Life is indeed like a burning candle and the brightest burn from both ends. Such was  your life my friend, Dr Yo-Liang Teng. Surreal! Just a few weeks back we had a long chat about future plans, about visiting you at some point in the future and about your possible return to our town at the end of the year and about many other things as we usually did. Only to get a message that you were in the hospital after a terrible accident. Gone too soon is not enough to describe this departure. We mourn with your family during this very unpleasant time. Such a clever young man and excellent internist who was always willing to share his ideas at any time. Quite a fun loving fella too! I will always cherish the long chats we had on Saturday mornings while sipping coffee and talking for hours about classic cars, possible holidays in the warm waters at Camp’s bay in Cape Town, the renovations of your Vancouver abode and creation of space for your parents to come and join you. I will cherish the pleasant suprise of a classic car book you brought for me from all the way in California, such a beautiful gift. It’s hard to accept that you are gone, but I know that we have too. So long my friend!.
