Yuk Mui Chau

Mrs. Yuk Mui Chau passed away peacefully surrounded by immediate family on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving husband Kong Hung, children Lisa, Tony (Sharon), Lilly, Laura and grandchildren Taylor and Bryan. Predeceased by daughter Linda in 1989.

She has a large extended family with multiple generations here and abroad, they are always in her thoughts.

She along with her husband were brave pioneers, with no family or friends here in Vancouver, Canada - the young family left Hong Kong in 1968 to seek a better life. She loved her family endlessly, taking joy in celebrating every occasion, big or small. Throughout her journey, she shared a love that was genuine and sincere to everyone who crossed her path thus preserving many life-long friendships. She always had good laughs and fun times being with family and friends.

Another love is reserved for her flowers, especially the giant Dahlias in which she is known for. She nurtured and admired them for hours at a time, watching her colorful garden grow and bloom so magnificently brought her much happiness.

She lived a full and happy life.

She was loved so dearly and missed so deeply. Cherish the memories and in our hearts they live forever.
