It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Yuk Tong Ma. He is survived by his wife Soo Wah(Eva), son Wai, daughter-in-law Catherine, granddaughter Christina, and many extended relatives.
He was born in Guangdong, China, got married in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in 1959 where he owned and operated the Red Lotus Restaurant in Cloverdale and the Mandarin Palace in Mission. He was a sociable person with many friends and enjoyed various hobbies in his retirement. A memorial service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel at 1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver on February 21, 2024 at 1:00PM.
