To me Char wasn’t just my best friend, she was my soul sister.  We’ve been friends since our days at Gladstone.  I moved away 14 years ago when I got married but we stayed in touch.  We watched each other become mothers from afar.  We shared our successes and sorrows from afar.  We got together when I visited and it always felt like no time has passed since we were last in each other’s presence.  She was generous, loving and she always had a smile on her beautiful face.  Char you will always be that one friend that I will cherish in my heart and in my soul.   Rest In Peace Charry… I love you ❤️ 

I miss you Zarah, you are the strongest, smartest, kindest, and generous friend I have ever known. You are the most patience and the most loving mother of your children.  Your love to them is incomparable. I'm so glad to have met you when we were teenagers and became close over the years until the end. You were always there to talk to and always there to count on. You were always the life of a party, the party organizer, and photo/videographer. Even though you were always late arriving to an event or just being pick up going to one, we would never be disappointed because of your angelic smile and happiness you bring to the party. Thank you for all the fond memories we had. You will always be miss and never be forgotten! Rest In Peace my beautiful friend until we meet again! I love you!❤️

I will always consider Zarah as a woman whom I hold very close and dear to me…..
We became friends at the age of 14 and she was so raw, honest and true to her values!  She is someone who I was always able to call when we were young and she’d be there, no matter what. She was always a true friend. 
Life brought different directions over the years but every time we would see one another, we always had that love! 

My most vivid last memory with Zarah  was when the girls and I went to my first real concert, and they were all part of that experience. We all laughed and danced like it was 1999. 

Zarah, Char, beautiful girl……I’m sad that you’ve left, at least you’re free from heartache. I am honored to have been considered one of your friends. I hope we meet again in another life coz you are 1 in a million. Rest in paradise. Love you forever 

My condolences to Zarah’s family. The world has lost a wonderful person.  I’ve known Zarah for over 15 years. She is always the life the party. So friendly and full of cheer. It was always fun hanging out with her. She radiated positivity even when if she was having a bad day. Such a beautiful person  inside and out. I will never forget her. I am also so glad that she was always taking pictures of us when we hung out because we at least have these pictures too look back on and remember the fun times.  You will be missed dearly, Zarah!

I met Zarah through our work together and became good friends.  My first impression of her was what a beautiful girl but as I got to know her further that included everything inward.   She was someone who was friendly but not afraid to speak her mind, I always  admired her adventerous spirit but what also impressed me was what a good mother she was and the love she expressed for her kids.   She is a special person that will be dearly missed. 

Charisse become a part of my life,since she was born until her childhood days, she was a kind and cheerful child, but sometimes always hungry, always giving me smile when i was lonely, charisse is more than a cousin for me, i  know i will miss her till  we see each other again, i love you so much charisse.
