

Born in Anthony, Kansas, during the Great Depression, she moved to Washington state as a toddler with her parents, Fred and Inez Raines. She spent part of her childhood in Pomeroy, Washington, and moved to Vancouver when she was 11. She attended Vancouver High School. In 1952, Beryline married Stephen A. Burnett. They were married for 45 years, when Steve passed away in 1998. Beryline will be remembered for her sense of humor, her deep friendships, her neighborly spirit, and for her compassion and kindness. She is profoundly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Glucoft (Terry), sons Milton J. Burnett, and Philip A. Burnett (Paula), all of Vancouver. She leaves behind a brother, James D. Raines, of Vancouver. Her sister, Alice Shriner and brother Donald Raines preceded her death. She had 4 grandchildren (Juli Burnett, Jami Watson, Leah Philip and Steven Glucoft).
Memorial services will be held for Beryline on Friday, June 12th at 1 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main Street, Vancouver, Washington. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Stephen’s Place, 501 SE Ellsworth Rd, Vancouver, WA 98664 or First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main Street, Vancouver, Washington 98663.
