Dave and I were friends since high school he will always be in my heart.

I worked with Dave many years ago at HP Vancouver.  He was a super person and definitely a true representative of the "good 'ol HP Way."  The Lord has taken a good one home!

I have very fond memories of working with Dave at Hewlett Packard.  My thoughts are with his family.

I knew my cousin David was special so it's heart-warming to read all of these guest book entries. David always brought such joy and happiness to his mom, my Aunt, Dol. We, the cousins, always looked forward to hearing about David's successes both on and off the rugby court. Thanks to everyone for filling up this guest book.

I met Dave in a self help group. He and Pat Adams were the least likely to become my dear friends because  both of them are so different from me. But not only did we all become friends, the three of us met for lunch every month for the past 15 years.  If it were left up to me we would never have  continued to be friends outside of the group.  Dave was the driving force that kept us meeting every month for all of these years. 
Shortly after  I heard of his passing I had an image of Dave beginning to sit up straight in his chair and then stand up. He stretched with a groan, smiled and begin walking away. I remember thinking how tall he was. 
Anyway the image helps me feel better about it. Peace to you my friend. Thank you for kindness and solid friendship. I will never forget you.

Dave, it's been many years since I worked @ HP Vancouver, but you were one of those people who left an indelible mark as I look back.  Rest in peace and my deepest condolences to your family.

Dave, you were greatly admired, and will be missed even more. Thank you for the inspiration you provided and the memories you have left us all with. My deepest sympathy to the Kammeyer family.

Dave was a sweet and gentle friend and will be greatly missed.

Dave truly was an inspiration to others. His light shines on and his white wings will take him to new horizons. He will live on as a guardian angel to those that he touched . . . and to those he has yet to meet. Soar sweet friend, soar!

Dave and I worked together for many years; I have fond memories of he and I working together (and butting heads!) when figuring out how to layout the equipment in our new printed circuit board factory.  Then the accident happened... so awful.  I greatly admired his courage and perseverance and positive attitude through it all.  His disability did not define him, his personality did.  I wish I would have made it to a Portland Pounders game to watch him play!  Goodbye good friend, you will always have a special place in my heart.  And when I think the going gets tough, I will think of you and remember that of course I can do it.

Dave and I worked at HP and played on the HP basketball team. Dave was no doubt our best player and was the main reason for winning our division! Dave was my hero on and off the court. I will miss Dave greatly...

Dave was the only person who could handle my crap without taking it too seriously (he knew how to give it right back).  I supported him as his admin for a few years at HP.  In honor of you Dave, I will think more about how lucky I am instead of how hard I have things.  Thank you Dave for being my friend through all the years.  And even after you left HP, you still came by just to give me a hard time (and to get me  to things for you!).  I have missed you already and knowing I will never hear "Miss Wanda" again saddens me.

Dave was an inspiration to me and I will miss him.

I didn't know him well, but observed for may years.  Dave's strength of character and humility were easy to spot.

I worked with Dave at H-P and he was a fine example of an individual. Dave always gave so much in spite of his circumstances. He will truly be missed by many. Rest in peace.

Dave's demonstrated positive courage provided me with a more positive grounding.  A true example of the best of the human condition.  A friend that will be deeply missed.

It was an honor to know Dave! He will be missed by me and by many others!

Not sure we will be able to make the service although we want to so bad.

I will always remember Dave for his resolute spirit, bright and creative mind, and sense of humor.  He was a great asset to the team at Hewlett-Packard. I regret not being able to attend his Celebration of Life.  My thoughts are with his family.
