

Ramona valued education. She started her teaching career, just after her own high school graduation, teaching 12 grades in a one room school house in Arkansas. Ramona married Leonard Julian Price in 1938 and they divorced in 1951. Ramona attended a variety of colleges and universities earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1956 and Master of Arts in Library Sciences in 1961. In 1966, she became the librarian for Evergreen High School in Vancouver, WA, designing their new library. After retiring in 1981, Ramona became a board member at First Christian Church in Vancouver and later moved to Calvary Baptist Church.
Ramona gave generously of her life talents to others, was a practicing Christian, and an inspiring woman who spent the days of her life in wise counsel and caring ways for her family.
Ramona is survived by her daughters, Pansy Nofziger of Silver Lake, WA and Velva Klinkner (Bill) of Waldport, OR; grandsons, Jeff Nofziger of Chicago, IL, Chris Nofziger of Claremont, NH, and Travis Willmore of Portland, OR; great-granddaughter, Willa Blanche Sheehan of Saxtons River, VT; as well as many nieces and nephews in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held Fri., Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m. at 4th Plain Baptist Church, 2400 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661, with interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. - See more at:
