Edward Fischer passed away peacefully in his sleep, April 17, 2014. He suffered from a very rary autoimmune disease called Hashimoto's Encephalopathy with symptoms that can mimic many different neurological disorders. He was mostly bed ridden since 2007 and lived at home since October 2009. We were blessed with a wonderful care giver, Mario Ineco, who enabled us to care for him at home.
Edward is survived by his wife Marianne, three children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edward was a very accomplished businessman. He started a plumbing business before he was thirty years old. He also became a building contractor. After that, he decided to retire and become a cattle and sheep rancher. He loved fishing and motorhome travelling. He was a beloved husband and father.
Arrangements under the direction of Vancouver Funeral Chapel, Vancouver, WA.
