Harold Dennis Roe passed away Monday, June 30 at the age of 80.

Harold joined the Marine Corp in 1952, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, being awarded many medals and ribbons. He was honorably discharged in 1975.

Harold met his bride to be, Grace, while roller-skating. She was the only girl there that he didn’t know so he had to meet her. They married in 1953 and had five children.

Harold enjoyed ballroom dancing, photography, making home movies and could never pass up a garage sale. He was also a world traveler to places such as China, Canada, Mexico, and all over the United States, as he would say… "Coast to coast and border to border."

Harold will always be known to his family as a great dad and listener. He was all about his family and was also quite a big flirt.

Dear Dad,
I miss you...we miss you, terribly.
Ramona, Van, Trish, Sam & I along with our furry kids went on vacation together. Hopefully Marcia can make the next family vacation. We headed towards Mt. Rushmore but didn't make it due to vehicle problems. Ya know, we were ok with it. We went places we would have otherwise never have gone. And made stories to tell for years to come. Montana is beautiful, Dad. Sam & I even talked about summering in Montana & wintering here. Another dream.
Draven starts school this year. He is 5 & the size of an 8 year old. He loves to talk to everyone he meets, young or old. Aimee says she is going to have a shirt made for Draven that says, "Draven for President".
Jacey is growing to be a pretty girl, Dad. I have fun with her on Tango. I wish she lived closer.
You are missed everyday, Dad.
On vacation I realized how much Van is like you in mannerisms, voice & laughter. We were playing a game & at 1 point Ramona & I looked at each other in shock. Our eyes were big & our mouths had fallen open. It was like you popped in thru Van to let us know you were with us. It was so cool.
Dad, give Mom & Steven a hug for us.

Dad,
Paul and Alexis stayed the night. At one moment before bed they were sad, your grandchildren miss you. I took them out side and we looked towards Heaven. As we looked up into the stars we talked of you with tears in our eyes. And as I tucked them in we said a prayer.
Your on line book is about to expire so this will be my last entry.
You are thought of often, missed dearly, and loved much.
Happy Thoughts and Warm Memories.
