

She was born on May 2, 1938 in Ten Sleep, Wyoming. Mary Lou and family then moved to Vancouver, WA where the Miners’ - Dad, Mom, brothers Bob and Steve, and sisters Gertrude and Mertice settled. Mary Lou graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School in 1956. In 1960 she married Gary Zepernick. They had two children Christopher and Teri.
Mary Lou started working for Property Management Services, Inc. in 1974 and retired in 1999 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family - especially her grandchildren, vacationing, boating and fishing with Gary, and attending Husky Football games in Seattle. The most remarkable aspect of her life was her enduring love for her family. She and Gary were married for 52 years. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered for her love, laughter, drive and devotion to family.
She was preceded in death by her father Foster Miner, mother Agnes Miner, brother Robert Miner and sister Mertice Barr. Survivors include husband Gary Zepernick (Vancouver, WA), son Chris Zepernick (Shelby) (Puyallup, WA), daughter Teri Till (Jeff) (Camas, WA) and four grandchildren – Jordan, Haley, Ella and Addison; sister Gertrude Barrett (Grants Pass, OR) and brother Stephen Miner (Vancouver, WA).
The service will be Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel 110 East 12th Street, Vancouver, WA at 2pm with the reception immediately following.
