Patricia married Lewis Patterson May 3rd, 1981 making their home in Southern California.
Patricia will be remembered for being a very generous, caring woman who always put everyone before herself. She and Lew enjoyed gardening together and treasured the time they spent with their grandchildren. She had a wonderful flair for style and decorating. She loved to constantly change the décor in her home, rarely keeping it the same for even a year. Her enthusiasm for the beach was always present, needing to walk in the ocean regardless of how cold it may have been. She had a passion for cooking family meals and especially for baking. She always made sure to bake birthday cakes for everyone she knew, and even for some that she didn’t. She baked cookies for all the kids in the neighborhood and once even set off her smoke alarm so the firefighters would come; she then had them sit down to have dinner with her. Cooking was her love language, her way of showing her family and friends how much she loved them.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Malicoat, Charlene (Glen) LaBonte, Janet (Mike) Suter, Nancy (Bill) Malicoat-Harris, Brenda (Mike) Raymond, Karen (Mike) Foley and Kelli (Frank) McAbee; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lew; her sisters and one grandchild.
