Saylor Addison Smith-DeBonneville
October 9, 2017 – June 28, 2020
Saylor Addison Smith-DeBonneville was born on October 9, 2017 and passed away on June 28, 2020 in Vancouver Washington. She is survived by her mother Kati Roberts and father Brandon Smith, sister Ailee (8 years old), brother Gregory (4 years old), and brother Gabriel (coming soon), as well as maternal grandparents Ashley & Katie Goforth, and paternal grandparents Fawnette Seaman & Dominic DeBonneville, and great aunt Regina DeBonneville.
Saylor was just Saylor. There are no words to fully describe her. She was always so full of life, and always had a smile on her face regardless of the situation... unless you woke her up too early! Saylor's heart was so full of love you could feel it every time you were around her. She was silly, bossy, determined, and incredibly wise beyond her years. She never let anything slow her down. Saylor also had an incredible love for her two older siblings, along with her new baby brother. She always wanted to be next to them, and doing what they were doing, even if it meant putting herself in timeout. She loved going on adventures, being outside, dancing and singing, and visiting family. She loved going for rides on daddy's quad, just to come snuggle with momma and tell her all about it. The hand that Saylor was dealt for her life was a hard one, and so very unfair. It robbed her of so many experiences, control over her own body, and time with her family. Saylor's life may have been so heartbreakingly cut short, but she was so beyond loved by everyone who met her. She inspired others to love and enjoy life to the fullest. She taught us all so many lessons along the way. Saylor taught us patience, determination, gratitude, resilience, and how to fight. She taught us how to forgive and how to live. But most of all... she taught us what life and unconditional love was all about. We love you, our Little Sunshine Baby, more than all the stars in the sky.
A memorial service is being held on Saturday July 11th at 2:00pm at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel in downtown Vancouver Washington.
