Betty was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Mr. & Mrs. Loy on August 12, 1929.
Betty was an accountant by trade as well as a homemaker who loved to cook and sew. Betty was always involved with special Olympics as an administrator, coach and mentor. She was dedicated to the advancement of special needs persons' with particular emphasis on her daughter Sandy. Betty loved golf, cards and physical fitness of all kinds.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Sandra. Nephew Steve Mick/ Marlene, grand niece: Keely. Niece: Julie Van Heuklon/ Randy.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents. Spouse: C.M. "Bud" Saunders, Daughter: Debra, sister: Winifred "Jeannie" Stevers/Steve.
A celebration of life will be held at: Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 Tamiami Trail S.
Venice, FL 34293, Wednesday 3, 2024, a gathering will be held at 11:30 AM, until Service Time at 12:30PM, Reception to follow at funeral home.
