On December 26, 2023 Caroline Krause age 93 who loved to be called "mummie" by her kids, got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Caroline was born in Berlin Wisconsin on June 6, 1930 to Elsie and Milton Metzig.
Caroline was mother to Wayne Wilcox, Patricia Cavanaugh, Sandra Panichello, and Laurie Evers. She raised her children with love and devotion in Rhinelander Wisconsin with her husband Gordon Evers.
Caroline retired in 1992 after working for 16 years at the hospital as a switchboard operator, then marrying Walter Krause and moving to Englewood Florida. Caroline was an active member at church, willing to help with anything, to include playing the music for the church services. Caroline moved to North Port, Florida in 2018 to live with her daughter and son-in-law Laurie and William.
Her hobbies were knitting, crocheting, diamond painting, swimming and bike riding.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Wayne Wilcox, Patricia & William Cavanaugh, Sandra & Kevin Panichello, Laurie & William Evers, six grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
