Born November 1, 1928, on Gasparilla Island, Edna was the daughter of the late Addington and Alene Underwood.
Edna was a loving mother, daughter, aunt, great aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, Michael Nix and sister, Helen Cole, along with numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
A graveside service for Edna will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sarasota Memorial Park, 5833 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231.
