A beautiful memory of my dear friend Karen is that I miss seeing her at the kingdom hall! We are back after 2 years and it's not the same without our  dear Karen. .... I always enjoyed talking with her about flowers and plants... She knew so much. She gave me a cutting from her
Gorgeous palm tree in front of her house and I tried so hard to keep it alive and I couldn't. I miss her so. She logged the yard work so much and I look forward to learning so much more from her in paradise. She loved Jehovah so much.

I miss my dear spiritual sister. She was such a wonderful person. When I first moved here in 2005 she was well and she was a lot of fun. She loved to go to the beach and always ready for another adventure. We had nice times eating out for dinner. She was an amazing plant person and she loved her yard work I can't wait till she's well and she's in the new world with us. We love her and miss her. But she is alive in Jehovah's memory and that's the best place to be.....♥️

I knew Karen since she was 18. We spent much time together in our preaching work in Northampton. Later when she moved to Fergus Falls, Minn I also moved nearby to Alexandria. We shared our friendships and had long talks about our love for God and our friends. She was a brilliant person who loved to read. She also put great store in correct English grammar. This sometimes led to great frustration for her in the rurals of Minn. I remember our being guests at the Potters in Amherst for a chicken dinner every week. She pitched right in and did the dishes so we girls could curl up on the floor and watch Startrek with the Potters. We all felt loved, warm, and happy. I will miss her.

I am sorry for your loss.  I met Karen in Minnesota when she was in her early 20s.  She was a unique individual.  One of my funniest memories, is when she instructed me on how to properly eat an ice cream sandwich - with a fork and knife.  I explained that you miss the "fun" of eating it, that way.  We were not able to reach an agreement on that, and many other unimportant things.   I was born in the Midwest; we have our own standards to meet, and they did not align with the standards set by a Boston private school education.  I do hope that Karen had a happy life.  I am sorry that she left you so soon.  May you have peace.
