Kathleen was born on June 11,1939 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Joseph and Margaret Devlin. Throughout her 86-year journey she touched many lives with her strength, wisdom, grace, and love.
Kathleen had many hobbies through the years including card games, board games, dominoes, bowling, ceramics, and reading. Her most treasured memories came from numerous vacations with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved musicals and would plan bus trips to New York City for Broadway shows and dinner. She was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams (except those John Elway days). She never missed a Phillies game and could be heard cheering until the last out.
Kathleen’s legacy of honesty, love, faith, and grace will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Hansen; one brother, Joseph; two sisters, Maryanne and Patricia.
She is survived by two daughters, Tricia Daniels (Pete) and Kathy Hansen; six grandchildren, John (Jen) Bowyer, Frank (Dimitria) Furia, Victoria Furia, Bianca Furia, Shane McAtee, and Christian Nowicki; four greatgrandchildren, Joziah, Jozalynn, Madison, and Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Joan Devlin; and numerous family and friends that she cherished.
A memorial service celebrating Kathleen’s exceptional life will be held on June 11, 2026, at 11am at Kays-Pronger in Venice, Florida. We invite you to put on your tropical clothes and join us in celebrating her life that began on King Kamehameha Day in Hawaii.
