Linda S McDonald

Linda S McDonald, passed on April 4, 2026, at the age of 83, having been born on January 4, 1943 in Olean New York. A resident of Venice, Florida. She married Thomas G. McDonald III on November 28, 1963. She is survived by her daughter Diane (Jim) Salhoff; brother John (Gloria) Artlip; several nieces and nephews; special family member Jan Salhoff and her grand doggies Benny, Sassy, Sammy, Sophia and Riley. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tamara McDonald; sister Jacqueline Gerber; her parents Jack and June Artlip. She worked at the family restaurant The Chit Chat in Olean, New York. She also worked at Olean General Hospital in the dietary department. She was a member of the Venice Moose, 1308 Chapter 758, No-Vel American Legion Auxiliary in Venice. She loved cooking, playing darts, bingo, dancing the Polka, reading mystery novels and crossword puzzles. There will be a graveside service held at a later date in New York.
