It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Christine Noble, of Englewood, Florida. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, caring nurse, and faithful friend whose kindness touched everyone she met.
Born on March 12, 1949, to Charles and Rose Mary Anderson, she spent her childhood growing up in Royal Oak, Michigan.
On June 14, 1969, she married the love of her life, Robert Noble, who survives her. Their marriage began a partnership that would span decades of laughter, unwavering devotion, and countless adventures. They were each other's favorite traveling companions, happiest when together — especially on the water.
She was the proud and loving mother of Nicole (Rob) Klan, Robert (Alaina) Noble, and Kristin (Gustavo) Garcia. No matter how old her children became, she always had a hug that could make everything better, a listening ear when life became complicated, and smart advice to point everyone in the right direction.
Her grandchildren brought endless delight to her life: Trisha, Jonathan (Elaina), Jaden, Ryan, and Hayleigh Klan, and Anderson Garcia. Her heart grew even fuller with the recent arrival of her great-granddaughter, Piper Klan.
Her caring spirit extended far beyond her own family. As a nurse, she dedicated her career to helping others, offering comfort and compassion to countless patients. She also gave her time as a Girl Scout leader and as a "picture lady" at school, teaching elementary students about famous artists. When she wasn't caring for others, you could find her cheering on her favorite football teams — THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Lions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose Mary Anderson; her parents-in-law, William and Inez Noble; her sister, Leslie Doan; and her brother, Steven Anderson, along with many other cherished friends and loved ones. We imagine they were all waiting to welcome her home — with open arms, warm smiles, and a perfectly chilled glass of Chardonnay.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Novi, Michigan. Details regarding the memorial service will be shared here once they are confirmed.
