Louise was born on July 12, 1941, in New Haven, Connecticut, and recently resided in Englewood, Florida. Louise was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Delvasto of West Haven Connecticut. She was predeceased by her brothers Vincent Delvasto and William Delvasto.
Louise attended Southern Connecticut State University, where she obtained her masters degree in teaching education. She taught at East Haven Public schools for over 30 years. At the age of 57, she retired to Florida with her husband Cedric and enjoyed a long healthy retirement. She loved cooking, bowling and social gatherings where she could spend time with her family and friends.
Louise is survived by Her husband, Cedric Leblanc, her two children, Marcella Stegman , Damon Serer (Tesha), brother Paul DelVasto (Denise), her 3 stepchildren John Leblanc (Kathy) , Lisa Harder, Renee Serbyn (Daniel) and her 8 grandchildren.
To fulfill Louise’s wishes cremation has already taken place. There will be a celebration by her family at a later date.
Louise will be laid to rest at Gulf Pines Memorial Park.
Any donations may be made to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital in honor of Louise’s memory.
