Paul worked in the automotive industry for 45 years, designing machinery used in making cars. He worked with Ford, Chevrolet and GMC during his career. Paul was a gifted bowler. His greatest achievement was rolling a 300 game in 1969. He also was a member of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for bowling in 1971. He was an avid golfer and spent his time watching the PGA Tour on television.
Paul is survived by his wife, Sandra, his son, Paul D. II (Dolly), his daughter, Tracy Gorman (Barret), his daughter Kelly Noble (Marc), and his son James (Erin), his nine grandchildren: Ashlie, Mallory, Anna, Kate, Jillian, Cameron, Henry, Colin, and Jack, and numerous nieces and nephews.
