Paul R. Simonds, age 80, of Englewood, Florida passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice House in Venice, Florida. He was born September 13, 1943, in Binghamton, New York to Gladys Simonds.
Paul moved to Englewood in 1995 from Chenango Forks, New York. He retired from a career in Sales.
Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Kathleen; daughters Paula (Patrick Carney), Candi Simonds, Kelly (Grahm Clegg) and Shannon Buckley; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sibling Katie Wandall. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Donna, and siblings Beverly Smith, Donald and Carl Simonds. A memorial service with honors was held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
