
Peter Gottlob Armbrust, of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away leaving behind a legacy defined by dignity and quiet strength. A respected gentleman of character and integrity, Peter was known by family, friends, and all who crossed his path as a man of honor whose warmth and presence could illuminate any room.
Born and raised with tremendous pride, Peter carried himself with humility, professionalism, and unwavering respect for others. He followed in the footsteps of his late father, Donald Armbrust, embracing hard work, education, and personal responsibility as guiding principles throughout his life. Alongside his professional endeavors, Peter was also a former restaurant owner in Jamestown, where his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to service reflected his commitment to community and family values.
An exceptionally talented athlete, Peter possessed a deep passion for both golf and tennis. Whether on the course or the court, he approached competition with grace, discipline, and sportsmanship. Beyond athletics, he was admired for his intellect, generosity, and selfless nature — a man who gave more than he ever asked in return.
Peter is survived by his loving mother, Norma Jean Armbrust; and his nephew, Matthew S. Armbrust, who carries forward the family name with pride and admiration for the example Peter set throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Armbrust, and his sister, Elizabeth J. Armbrust.
Those who knew Peter will remember a man whose smile could brighten a room, whose presence brought comfort and confidence, and whose life was marked by loyalty, compassion, and quiet excellence.
