Born on March 22, 1945 in Carbondale to Andrew and Phyllis Potson, Richard spent his childhood growing up in Lansdale. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Richard was known for speaking plainly and honestly, qualities that reflected his strong character and unwavering convictions. A devoted Christian, his faith guided his life and relationships, providing strength and purpose throughout the years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger; his sisters, Terri and Gerrie; and his brothers, Andrew and David. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the steadfast faith that shaped his life.
Richard's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
