Robert Eugene Thomas

Robert Eugene Thomas, of Rotonda West, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on August 3, 1951, Bob was the son of Joseph and Lucille Thomas, and stepson of Carol Thomas. A proud Massachusetts native, he spent many happy years in Leominster, Massachusetts, before retiring to Rotonda West, where he enjoyed the sunshine, great friends, and plenty of time on the golf course.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lynn; his children Matthew Thomas and his wife Brianna, Jared Thomas and his wife Elizabeth, Kristen and her husband Eric Price, and Kurt Hennig. He also leaves behind his five beloved grandchildren, Madeleine and James Thomas, Annabelle and Josie Thomas, and Rowan Price, they all brought him endless joy and pride. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald Thomas, and his sisters, JoAnne Nason, Kathy Thomas Burdick, and Sandi Thomas.

Bob spent his career in sales within the printing industry, where his charisma, integrity, and genuine care for people made him a natural at what he did. Those who knew Bob will remember his unforgettable laugh, his warmth, and his ability to make everyone feel like a friend. A talented guitarist and a walking rock & roll encyclopedia, Bob had an ear for great sound and a soul to match. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his love of music brought people together, just like he did.

He loved a few things above all else: His Family, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Golf, Boston Sports, and Classic Westerns. Whether he was out on the course, playing his guitar, singing along to his favorite songs, or watching an old John Wayne movie, Bob approached life with humor, kindness, and heart. Bob was truly one of the nicest, most warm, and genuine people you could ever meet. He was loved deeply by his family and friends, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
