Bob proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy before dedicating many years of service to the transportation department at the Kentucky State Reformatory. He believed in working hard, taking care of the people he loved, and enjoying life's simple pleasures.
From La Grange to Harrods Creek to El Jobean, Florida, he could be found with a cigar in one hand, a cold beer in the other, and Janis Joplin playing in the background.
Nothing made him happier than spending time with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories that will be cherished forever.
While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and that his legacy of love, laughter, and living life on his own terms will never be forgotten.
So today, raise a beer, light a cigar, turn up a little Janis, and think of Bob.
Rest easy, Grandpa.
You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
