Shelly Hyman age 74 of North Port Fl passed peacefully on July 7, 2026. She was born on September 19, 1951 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford Ct. She attended the University of Connecticut and graduated in 1973. She continued her education and obtained her Master’s in 1980. Shelly then worked for the State of Connecticut for 37 years. Shelly enjoyed traveling ,especially cruising , visiting museums, painting, And playing trivia. Shelly was preceded in death by her parents , Saul Hyman and Velma (Horenstein). Shelly is survived by , of 44 years Lance Winer. Brothers Larry, Thomas(Jan). Shelly also leaves a niece Angela, and two nephews Danny Hyman and Lenny Sheldon, Aunt Shirley Karp and many cousins.
There will be a gathering on Friday July 17 at 11:00 am at the Gulf Pines Memorial Park, 2401 Englewood Rd. Englewood Fl 34233.
