Ronald Robert Brobst age 79 of Englewood passed from this life on August 17, 2021. Ron was born in 1942 in Warren, Ohio to Lee & Christina Brobst. He moved to Englewood with his family in 1947 and attended Englewood Elementary and Venice High School. He met his wife, Kathleen Patterson Brobst, in 1958 and they married in 1962. They lived in Englewood until 1986 at which time they moved to Panacea, Florida, and lived there until 2018 when they returned to Englewood.
Ron is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen Brobst, brother, Gerald (Kathy) Brobst, son, Douglas (Anne) Brobst, daughter, Susan (Tim) Costello, grandson, Keenan (Emily) Costello, granddaughter, Delaney Costello and great granddaughter, McKenna Costello.
Ron loved his family and had a passion for fishing, playing cards and trips to the casino. His family hopes that he is catching a big snook in Heaven.
