We we’re sorry to learn of Ron’s  passing  and send our deepest sympathy to Doris, Mike and family.  We had a long relationship with Ron over nearly 60 years, encompassing  Detroit, New York, and Toledo, involving Law Enforcement, College Professors, and a Groomsman in our wedding.  He was always a good  guy!

I loved Ron for his irreverent humor and for his ability to always say what he thought. He was always so kind to me and to my parents who truly adored him. He will be missed!

I remember spending time with Ron a few nights and talking about his train travels.  I plan to take a train trip with Joe sometime through Canada or along the West coast.  From his description of his adventures, it sounds like it would be a great way to see part of the country without the issues of driving.
