Rosemarie K. King

2021. Rosemarie was born June 21,1937 in Nürnberg, Germany to Heinrich and

Margarete “Gretel” Kreuzer. Rosemarie is survived by her husband, Vincent King; sons,

Oliver King of CO, Mark King of PA and daughter, Patricia (Gilbert) Haines of Venice,

FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunts and uncles.

In 1952 the Gospel came to her hometown and she and her parents embraced the life

and teachings of Jesus which continued to be a strength and comfort to Rosemarie

unto the end of her life. She was united in marriage to Vincent D. King on February

20,1959 in Münich, Germany and they recently celebrated their 62nd anniversary.

Rosemarie enjoyed traveling the military life for many years and visited various states

and countries over the years. She had previously resided in Pennsylvania, France,

Texas, Arkansas, Alaska, Idaho, Mississippi, Germany, Illinois and Tennessee. In 1999,

they moved to Naples, FL and later to Venice, FL in 2018. Rosemarie was a

homemaker until she returned back to the workforce as a secretary, and held various

administrative assistant positions. Rosemarie enjoyed flower gardening, reading,

German cooking and many handicrafts. If you needed someone to talk to, Rosemarie

was a great listener. She took a great interest in her spiritual family; and enjoyed

hosting them in her home, when she was able. Her dry wit made many laugh. She will

be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The King family expresses deep appreciation to the many selfless, caring Tidewell

Hospice medical professionals and many of her dear friends who assisted Mom in her
