Theresa Ann Laskowski

Terri graduated from Lennox High School in May of 1961 and then attended Canisius College where she graduated as an RN in 1964. She began her career as a nurse at St Joseph Hospital in Cheektowaga, N.Y. After moving to Englewood in 1974, she worked in the emergency room at Venice Hospital for 35 years. She also worked at Englewood Hospital ER for 10 years and after retiring volunteered for numerous years, as a nurse, at the Free Englewood Community Clinic.

Terri was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Gerald (Jerry) Laskowski of 59 years. Survived by her younger brother Paul Brown of California, her sons Patrick (Stephanie) and David Laskowski all of Englewood FL, sister-in-law Camille, niece (Melessa), and Nephew (Milon) of AZ. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Brooke, and Raquel Laskowski. She was predeceased by her youngest son, Brian Laskowski in 1997 and her brother Richard Brown in 2006.

She was an avid traveler and camper, visiting all 50 states and numerous counties throughout the world. She played softball and bowled in numerous leagues throughout her lifetime. She was a member of Englewood Young Women’s Club and Saint Raphael church. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Terri’s legacy of hard work and love for her family and friends will endure. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church on Friday, December 5, 2025. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Meals on Wheels of Englewood Florida, and Englewood Florida Free Community Clinic.
