He was 86 years old.
Vic was born in Mramorak, Serbia on July 17, 1939.
His parents were Jovan and Paunica Ursu.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sladja (Suzie).
Vic was a skilled carpenter and worked diligently all his life. He was meticulous and took pride in completing tasks “the right way”.
He had a great sense of humor, a wonderfully warm smile, and a huge heart for helping others- always ready to lend a helping hand.
He enjoyed spending time with family and especially loved family dinners!
He was great with babies and small children and was the first to “fist bump” the great grandchildren.
Vic had a keen interest in health and wellness and owned a health food store for many years. His garden was very prolific, and he loved sharing greens with his family.
We will miss him very much.
Vic is survived by his son John (Jeanne), grandchildren Benjiman, Nicholas, Susannah, (Josiah), Daniel, Juliette, and Rosemary, his great-grandchildren children Leo and Atlas, his brother Peter, his sisters Silvia and Ophelia, and his dear friends Barbara and Jane (Jeanne’s mother).
Viorel is interred at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, Florida.
There are no services scheduled; however, a Celebration of Life is planned for a future date.
